According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of resilience is, "the ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change." I believe resilience is feeling the hurt and pain of something, processing what happened, and having the resolve to move on and move forward with your life. When you are resilient you don't get stuck in the past. You take the lessons learned with you and move into greater which is everything that God has for you.
Imagine you’re living the life you envisioned. What does that look like?
Part of being resilient is knowing that whatever you’ve come out of, or whatever has happened to you be it tragic, discouraging, or disheartening, you will come through it and not look like what you have been through. Another part of being resilient is having a vision for your life. Imagine your life grander and greater than where you are presently and push towards that. Knowing that whatever your mind can see, you can physically have it.
